Founded in 2004 by directors James Walker and Ed Boase, Young Film Academy (YFA) is the UK’s leading provider of educational filmmaking programmes for young people aged 8-18. 

YFA is the filmmaking workshop provider to over 50 independent and state schools, as well as the Guardian Hay Festival, the Edinburgh International Film Festival and the London Children's Film Festival.

Magma Pictures is an award-winning film production company. Magma Pictures’ films have been screened on BBC, ITV, Canal + and Rai Uno. Magma has collected international awards, including HTV Award (Encounters Festival), Best UK Short Film (Raindance) and the Cocotte-Minute Award (Brest Int. Film Festival). Magma Pictures is currently producing the feature film Blooded.
