Do YFA provide a location for the party?

No. Movieparties take place in a home/location organised by the client.

How many guests can we invite?

11, making a maximum of 12 including the birthday boy/girl. An unlimited number of guests can be invited to the screening at 615pm.

Can we have more than 12 guests in total?

We try and ensure that each and every partygoer has a good role in the film. For this reason, 12 is the maximum.

Is catering included?

No. All catering arrangements are the responsibility of the client (unless arranged with us previously).

Do you come with a ready-prepared script?

No. We are proud that the story is always devised with the group on the day, giving them insight into film narrative and screenwriting techniques.

Do the kids get to film themselves?

There is a behind-the-scenes camera which they operate throughout the day. The film itself is shot by YFA professionals.

Where does the filming take place?

Our filmmakers are masters of guerilla filmmaking - improvising around your house, garden (if there is one), the surrounding street/parks. Watching a film shot in locations familiar to you adds extra entertainment to the completed film.

Is our house big enough to hold a Movieparty?

Almost certainly. Though if space is tight, outside space such as a park close by can be helpful.

Can we do a half-day version of a Movieparty?

No. Every minute is needed to complete the miracle!

When do we receive our DVDs?

10 working days after the party.
